Eligibility Criteria

• For Master’s applicants: Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.

• For Ph.D. applicants: Be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program.

• Institutional Affiliation: The academic institution where you are enrolled (as mentioned above) must be:

1. A partner institution of TMU, OR
2. A higher education institution located in:
3. Any of Tokyo’s sister cities, OR
4. Any other Asian country or region.

• Professional Affiliation (Alternative/Additional): Alternatively, or in addition, applicants may be eligible if they work in:

1. A research institution,
2. A governmental organization, OR
3. A company.

• The location of this organization must be in:

1. Any of Tokyo’s sister cities, OR
2. Any other Asian country or region.
