Kellett joins only 6 other schools in Asia to have been awarded Patron’s Accredited Membership and is the only school in Hong Kong to do so. In recognition of our approach to well-being, we have also been awarded Beacon School status. Beacon status is awarded only for excellence, and means we are looked at as an example of best-practice for other schools to learn from.

COBIS gave Kellett commendations for 18 out of the 24 areas assessed, with all areas meeting or exceeding expected standards.

"I’m delighted that our staff have received recognition for their hard work and dedication through the awarding of Patron’s Accredited Member status by COBIS. As a school that strives for best practice in wellbeing, across all aspects of school life, it is wonderful to be recognised as a beacon school for these efforts, and we very much look forward to sharing that journey with peer schools in the network,” said Principal & CEO Mark Steed.

COBIS membership enables our school to access some excellent benefits including professional development for staff, competitions and events for students and the ability to learn from colleagues based in leading British international schools around the world. COBIS membership demonstrates our commitment to deliver high-quality education with a strong British educational ethos in Hong Kong, and we are proud to be a part of the global COBIS community.
