Dear OKs,
I hope this letter finds you well! After years of a well and truly drawn out literature and philosophy degree at the University of Melbourne, and a chaotically fascinating (and draining) career in hospitality, I have just launched my first official publication: Neurotransmission vol. 1! Neurotransmission is a short collection of prose, poetry and photography grappling with the lived experience of epilepsy as I have come to know it. You can buy a digital or print copy from: https://franzphotography.bigcartel.com/ (I would be forever grateful!)
More interestingly, however, will be the next edition! Submissions are open for vol 2, and I am looking to hear from those of you who have also had an epileptic experience and are looking for a space to creatively explore and process it. More information can be found through the aforementioned website, or through my Instagram @a.franz.m_neurotransmission. Also, I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia, so if anybody is in town, don't hesitate to give me a call! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I wish you all the very best!
Warmly,
Alex Mortensen
