Dear OKs,

This April, I will be running the London Marathon in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.

I am running in memory of a very close friend, George Williams. George and I first met at school, sharing the same boarding house. Our friendship was sealed through endless conversations about the latest girl he or I had fallen for – a pastime we definitely spent too much time on.

Sadly, in August 2021, George passed away after a long and hard battle with a rare form of cancer. Despite this illness, George always had a smile on his face, and you couldn't help but enjoy his company. He always saw the best in any person or situation and taught me so many things that I still try to live by today. George truly had one of the kindest hearts I have ever known.

Any donations, no matter the size, would be amazing and go towards the charity's work in helping other young people around the UK diagnosed with cancer.

Follow my training journey here!

Thank you for all your support.

Max
