That book, ‘Aboard the Time Line’, is now out and follows the journey of a boy called Pete who doesn’t enjoy school very much. Adventure awaits however when time suddenly stops around him, and a talking dinosaur called Reginald accompanies him on a wild journey through different periods of history, from Ancient Greece to Victorian London. The book has been beautifully illustrated by his sister May.

Bastian was born in 1997 and grew up in Hong Kong, Singapore and Denmark. The Gregory family were very involved with Kellett in the early 2000s with three of their four children - Bastian, May (OK 2003-06) and Luke (OK 2003-06)- attending the School before they relocated to Singapore. Bastian spent his first few years of schooling at Pok Fu Lam, and his mother Tine (OK 2004-06) worked at the School in the Development office.

Our condolences go to everyone who loved Bastian.

If you would like to order a copy of ‘Aboard the Time Line’, you can do so here and more information is available here. Copies of the book will shortly be available in the Prep libraries for our students to enjoy.

Below are Bastian Author Bio and some photos of of him at Kellett.

I was born in Singapore to a Danish mother, and English father. I spent my first 2 years in Singapore and then moved to Hong Kong for the next 7 years. We then moved back to Singapore where I attended Tanglin Trust School for 4 years. And then we moved back to Denmark when I was 13 years old. Here I went to another International School, Rygaards .I then went on to finish my schooling in Denmark, to then go to a Creative Writing course at Uni in Winchester, England.

I have always felt different, and when I was about 15 years old, I realised I was suffering from depression, and diagnosed with Asbergers and possible ADHD. I battled this for many years, whilst trying to find my way. Whilst doing this, I obtained pleasure from writing- and wrote this children's book- Aboard the Timeline. I have also written a number of poems- some of which have been published.
